I was born in NYC but got to Texas just as fast as I could. I started my career as an art teacher for seven years, switched to sales & marketing, eventually co-owning an exhibit management company for 14 years in Atlanta, GA. After selling that company, my husband and I became full-time RVers for five years, with a goal of seeing all 50 states and as many provinces in Canada as possible. That was truly a wonderful adventure and I will treasure those experiences forever.
When we decided to live in a "non-moving stick house", we chose the beautiful Texas Hill Country to call home. I feel fortunate to have connected with Wimberley ISD, first as a substitute teacher, then as the ISS teacher at JWE, at the high school as Attendance Clerk for four years, and for the past three years as the Athletic Secretary at the new Texan Field House. I am also the Facilities Use Coordinator for the district.
